CrypTok Dual Encryption

This application is implemented mainly to provide a security on high priority data (Backups) that are kept for further uses, as these data need a high level of monitoring and managing.

•         DualEnc provides data confidentiality, as the backups are kept encrypted.

•         DualEnc uses a single Smart Token for the encryption of the backup files, while in case of decryption in addition to the encrypting Smart Token another Smart Token is used. This Feature is used to provide the manageability to the backups, as for the user to see the backup files in clear form he must have the encrypting Smart Token added to it another authorized Smart Token that will be designed to be the other part of the decrypting process.

•          For the user that is designed to make the backup all what he needs is his Smart Token then select what to be backed up then the backup file is created (which is encrypted), while in case of restoring there must exist two tokens: the encrypting Smart Token and manager’s Smart Token.

•         DualEnc used in keeping the backup files, which are used again (example: disasters).
